Bark About It!

It was a busy Thursday for the Cleveland Browns front office brass. Starting with the interview of ex Packers Head Coach Mike McCarthy, taking a break for Owner Jimmy Haslam to address the media, and ending in Baltimore to interview Baltimore Ravens Offensive Coordinator Greg Roman.

Mike McCarthy

McCarthy has had a year off to reevaluate himself and his process. The ex-Green Bay Packers Head Coach is looking for another opportunity to lead a team back to the Super Bowl. While McCarthy saw his career in Green Bay end on a bad note, and some stability problems, his experience shouldn’t be looked past. With 135 wins, 6 divisional championships, 9 playoff appearances, and 1 Super Bowl, it’s hard to.

Greg Roman

Roman was promoted to the offensive coordinator by Ravens Head Coach Jon Harbaugh before the 2019 season. Since then, the Ravens have gone on to a 14-2 record and an AFC North title. Roman has worked his way up the ranks throughout his career and has strong ties to the Harbaugh family, working with Jon’s brother, Jim at the University of Standford and the San Francisco 49ers. Stealing a division rival coordinator is never a bad idea. Right?…

Stay locked in for the coming day’s Browns fans, as the interviews should continue this weekend with their trip to San Francisco to interview 49ers Defensive Coordinator Robert Saleh and possibly offensive assistants Mike Lafleur, and Mike McDaniel.
